A softly painted still life of blue and white flowers in a glass vase, set beside a dark ceramic pot. The muted, traditional palette gives it a calm, quiet charm that settles into a room without shouting. It comes in a substantial wooden frame and is ready to hang, so it can go straight onto a wall, mantel or shelf.
The Details - 68cm x 62cm, framed - Floral still life by Arthur Sherwood Edwards - Substantial decorative wooden frame, ready to hang - Condition: good vintage condition, with light wear to the frame consistent with age - Neutral, traditional colour palette
How It Came to Us The blue and white flowers caught my eye straight away, and the frame is far sturdier than anything you'd find new.
Care & Display Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep out of direct sunlight to protect the colours. Lovely in a hallway, above a sideboard or in a bedroom, and it sits happily alongside blue and white china.
Shipping: Royal Mail 48 (2–3 working days) Packed carefully in recycled materials, with extra padding to protect the frame and glass.
