A sturdy little stoneware bottle in warm ochre and honey tones, with dark, inky pooling around the neck where the glaze ran in the kiln. Bottles like this were once everyday objects, used for ink, paste blacking or household liquids, and this one has the weathered, hand-fired character you can’t recreate. It’s lovely alone on a shelf, or holding a few dried stems, pencils or a single sprig from the garden.
